About Ms. Diaz
Tania returned to McHenry County as a Board Certified Physician Assistant after living in Missouri for three years to provide medical care to the community she grew up with. Throughout her medical education, Tania knew she wanted to work in Family Medicine. She found passion in educating patients in the importance of preventing disease and educating on disease processes. She enjoys working in Family Medicine as she gets to see patients from all ages. Being a native Spanish speaker, she’s able to provide medical care to the Spanish speaking community as well, which is something she always dreamed of doing. Tania joined Favia Primary Care to be able to provide quality and personalized care to her patients.
After graduating from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, in 2017, she moved to Saint Louis, MO., where she received her master’s degree in Medical Science from Saint Louis University and became a Board Certified Physician Assistant in 2021. She’s a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Tucker. She enjoys jogging and volunteering with her local community.
