With her experience in internal medicine and primary care, Kristen has found that quality medical care is about combining knowledge of medicine with personal, passionate, individualized patient care. She is passionate about treating the whole person, forming relationships, and working with patients to provide the best quality care. She enjoys educating patients on medical issues so that they, along with their healthcare provider, can make informed decisions and make healthy choices for their future.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exercising, organizing and decluttering, watching movies, and reading.
Kristen graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Des Moines University in Iowa in 2011.
Kristen is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA). She served as a regional director on the IAPA board of directors from 2011-2017. She has been a guest speaker at several medical conferences and a local physician assistant program and has mentored students during their clinical rotations.
